GARDEN
Who
is eligible to become a member?:
Membership
for the NWCG will be determined by geographic boundaries.
residents, workers or students in the
Pearl District or Northwest and Riverdistricts will be eligible to
register for membership in the garden.
How
can I become a member?
Fill out and return the application by mail. Include an application with a $15 deposit. Annual
membership fees of $50 can be paid once membership
has been selected.
Applications
must be downloaded, filled out and mailed along with
your $15 deposit payable to the Zimmerman Community
Center. Completed applications and checks may be mailed
to

If
there are more applicants than gardening spots we
will hold a lottery to pick members.
What
are the membership responsibilities?
Members must pay annual membership dues to cover garden
operations; electricity, water, and maintenance .
There
will be membership requirements for garden clean-up
and fundraising events.

How
will the garden work?
There are usually garden member spots available.
Gardeners will share 5 large plots for growing ornamental
plants. Plot sizes
are approx 20' x 15'.
There are garden plot leaders to coordinate schedules
and help oversee garden operations.
Who
is running the garden?
The garden is a program of the Zimmerman Community
Center, managed by the garden committee.
New members will become part of the garden committee to carry
out garden projects and fundraising.
